Aspiring future Cowboys have the chance to learn from the best thanks to North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP).
Players 6 to 16 years can train with former Cowboys legend Matthew Bowen, as well as 2015 Cowboys premiership player Kyle Feldt.
The free session is on Monday 25 March at the Mackay Wanderers Football ground in Beaconsfield from 4pm to 5pm.
NQBP Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Fertin said the event is part of the third annual two-day Mackay Bulk Ports Blitz (March 25-26).
“The players will visit four primary schools, Fitzgerald, Slade Point, Andergrove and Eimeo Road State schools,” Mr Fertin said.
"The Blitz is part of our community partnership with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys,” he said.
“It’s about using the personality power of the Cowboys to encourage local students to make the right choices for success.”
Mr Fertin said the three-year partnership built on NQBP’s and the Cowboys shared values of leadership, engagement and integrity.
"We want to inspire and educate young people in our port communities to make positive life choices,” he said.
“This includes a focus on indigenous communities and children.”
