Work will start from the week beginning 22 January 2018 to repair damage to the marine offloading facility (MOF) at Half Tide Tug Harbour caused by Tropical Cyclone Debbie in 2017.
The repair work involves the placement of 9,000 tonnes of rock on the revetment walls surrounding the MOF.
Contractors MGN Civil Pty Ltd will undertake the repair work on behalf of NQBP.
We recognise this work may cause inconvenience and ask for your patience during these important repairs.
Work will take place between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday and 6am to 2pm on Saturday.
It is expected that these works will be completed by mid-March.
An increase in traffic, specifically truck movements along Hay Point Road, can be expected during this time.
The trucks will need to drive around the Half Tide boat ramp car park to enable them to deliver rocks to work site 3. Community access to the car park will remain unchanged, however we urge you to exercise caution around these truck movements.
