Community notification Bowen Jetty Works
North Queensland Bulk Ports (NQBP) will be carrying out works on the Bowen Jetty.
What is happening?
We’re undertaking maintenance work to replace plywood sections with more durable Fibre Reinforced Polymer decking. This is the third stage of replacement works.
The works will be from Tuesday 7 October to Saturday 11 October 2025.
This maintenance work is unrelated to the Bowen Jetty replacement project, which continues to progress with technical and environmental studies.
Access changes
Public access to the Bowen Jetty will be closed during this time for everyone’s safety.
We appreciate your patience while we complete these important works.
