Design your Dream Jetty Competition
Winners of the North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) ‘Design your Dream Jetty’ art competition have been announced from around 100 entries.
As part of the competition, Bowen youth were asked to create artwork to represent their ideas for a future Bowen Jetty.
The entries showed how Bowen’s young people envision their future jetty as a place for everyone to enjoy. A place where families can relax, fish, sightsee, and indulge in fish and chips or ice cream

Lower Primary (Prep to Year 3):
Winning entry - $75 EFTPOS gift card - Piper, aged 7
Encouragement Award - $50 EFTPOS gift card - Elsie, aged 8
Upper Primary (Year 4 to 6):
Winning entry - $100 EFTPOS gift card - Matilda, aged 10
Encouragement Award - $75 EFTPOS gift card - Ella, aged 10
High School (Year 7 - 12):
Winning entry - $150 EFTPOS gift card - Sarah, aged 14
Encouragement Award - $100 EFTPOS gift card - Isaac, aged 14
