For public safety, NQBP temporarily closed the Mackay Southern Breakwater and Bowen Jetty due to weather conditions caused by ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji.

The Southern Breakwater has been reopened to vehicles and pedestrians. The Bowen Jetty has been reopened to pedestrians.

NQBP thanks port users and the community for their patience and cooperation during this period of adverse weather.
